Perthbullion just listed this for $275 http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/odinhrsco3/ And got a pre-release offer from Downies for $349.
Downies has a different clientele than the average SilverStacker. My guess is that by the time the release date is in the present, all the major dealers will either be sold out or raise the price to over $300. .
IMHO this one is going up. The signs are all heading in that direction. One of the challenges with a series like this is getting the next coins at a reasonable price. Once this first one goes up ....subsequent issues can be hard to come by at a reasonable buy price. But independent of that this one looks like a very nice coin and an even better investment.
I am so happy I bought this coin at a reasonable price. Now it seems going up everywhere. I think I am going to buy a couple of pieces more at PowerCoin before they raise price too, like anyone else. I will surely flip for big profit when other coins in series will be out Alex.
Hello Alex, I think there are only 6 left, or is this a site where they only sell 5 at a time? And then add 5, increase price, add 5, increase price? 3 oz. for 210.00 U.S. for first in series, not a bad a gig. I'm awfully tempted. http://www.powercoin.it/en/oceania-...-relief-3-oz-silver-coin-10-tokelau-2016.html Okay Alex, you convinced me, I bought one. I have to see what all the hype is about. Plus it's the first in a series, have to imagine it will go up, so even if I don't like it, I won't be out any dough. LOL. Plus the marketing arm of the mint does a good job at pumping stuff like this up...and then the distributors pile it on...
I ordered one at the original price but I have no idea why TBH  These coins don't seem too popular in Australia.
Went in for a couple... The Perth Bullion price is about $194 US. I got the invitation from Downie's but they are way more expensive than Perth Bullion... Perth Bullion is charging $275 AUD with free shipping while Downie's is charging $349 + $9.90 postage and handling (though the number of coins ordered doesn't seem to affect it). So if you are buying just one coin, Downie's is about $84 more expensive than Perth Bullion.
I've got to say, AgAuNEWS, I actually read your article on this piece just now, and I'm very impressed with the level of detail. I love the photos. I love the details of the mold. I think initially I stopped at Chinese medals cast not struck...but since I bought one last night, I thought, let me read this article from beginning to end. And I have to admit, it is a well written piece, and the pictures are stellar. I look forward to seeing the detail of the coin up close and personal. I think this one of all the gods produced yet, will be the best, hands down. Just my humble opinion. Thanks again for covering all the details. Anyone contemplating buying this medal, go thru his article, it is rich in detail.
We are preparing a detailed response to some of the frequently asked questions we've received about this series and it will be up by the end of this week.

uuuuuum, all we can say is time will tell. But appreciate all the feedback and kind words about the mint and the series. LMAO.
Yes, this is our coin series - thanks. Along with the updates, we will also be announcing the Norse figure that will be featured on the next coin.
