    My charts are heading south - not dramatically, but down they are heading (AUD or USD). Reading data from Kitco every minute (just for reference to compare to your data?)

    "Bernanke also said he expects growth to pick up in the second half. Should signs fail to materialize soon, the Fed's Open Market Committee will consider additional policy tools at its Sept. 20-21 meeting, which has been extended to two days."


    Next meeting/announcement on the 20th September.

    Basically he has commuted to some sort of stimulus that will be announced at there September 20 meeting. This is why commodities/index's rallied and USD sunk because the market is already pricing it in.

    I suspect the market is pricing in around 500 billion like has been suggested by a few traders.

    With gold soaring, up $50 in access market trading to over $1,820, today King World News asked Michael Pento the reasons for the big move in gold as well as his thoughts on Bernanke's speech. Pento had this to say when asked about the explosive situation in gold, "Chairman Bernanke reiterated yet again that the fed would do whatever it takes to restore prosperity to the U.S. economy. The academic/politician still doesn't understand that this is a balance sheet recession and all he has accomplished is to offer inflation along with zero growth."

    With gold accelerating today's gain in access market trading to over $57, King World News interviewed James Turk to get his thoughts on where gold and silver are headed from here. When asked about the action in gold Turk stated, "This was a big day and a great close to the week. The strength that gold displayed suggests that we are going to probe $1,900 very quickly, possibly as soon as next week.
