NGC says "neigh"! Still a very respectable grade for these big coppers, IMO, which never seem to get the 69's & 70's... 1st of its kind graded by NGC. I don't agree with the RB, as opposed to Antiqued.. But whatever. And as always, photos don't do these high-relief medals justice. Highly recommended! Apparently raw still in stock at CM (better photos there, too ).. http://chinesemedals.com/products/lunar-horse-hand-carved-copper-medal
RB - Red Brown. A coin with a mix of red luster and brown patina. https://www.ngccoin.com/coin-grading/grading-scale/ Technically it should be "Antiqued," as they use that for other medals (Ag, brass, copper) in the same vein. It was intentionally oxidized by the mint. I believe the RB designation should only be used when it occurs naturally. Though given the medal is a couple years old, perhaps some of that occurred? No biggie. Just a small technicality in this case.
