    Hi there all,

Recently purchased a 2oz lunar from another member that was listed as unopened, perfect cond. During correspondance I was offered another 2 oz lunar that I didn't have, so purchased it as well.

Recieved coins today and the 2nd coin has an obvious fingerprint on the reverse.

This is annoying  , because I specifically target mint cond. coins and I like buying here because I expect forum members to be a bit more honest and upfront. I also don't have the knowledge or inclination to attempt to clean it (if that is possible)

Being an Ag bullion lunar, the cost won't kill me. However I was wondering if it's worth the hassle of a stink with the seller for a refund? Or should I just write it off as experience?

Yeah, I'll do it privately. I don't want to plaster anyone here publicly.

In general, if an item is not as advertised, I'd be suggesting a refund or partial refund that takes into account the damage/fingerprint.

I would definitely ask for a replacement or refund---nobody wants a coin with fingerprints

Wow. A pleasant outcome can be achieved with polite correspondence.

    Oh, FFS. Seriously?

Feeling a bit inferior today were you?

Does a bit of cliche'd moral grandstanding make you feel better?

I thought this was a metals forum?

Don't bomb a simple question with your pointless shitbasket.

You can bang on all day about world issues that even you do SFA about, you hypocritical f'wit, but kindly do it somewhere else.

    Thankyou :)

    Apologies Maggie,

Had a gutful of some people's superiority complex this week.

Well done wrcmad, nice to see an outcome as it should be. Forum members here I have found to be excellent to trade with but admittedly I only trade with those with a past history of like 20+.
