What the **** Within three minutes of the fast-fashion icon opening at 9am, 80 per cent of the stock had been sold. http://www.news.com.au/business/zara-fever-never-seen-anything-like-it/story-e6frfm1i-1226043948923
Pfft... the real question is, how's husband sentiment on hearing how much was spent on the credit card?
From the article: There are 5044 Zara stores in 77 countries ..... Zara's chief communications director Jesus Echevarria said: "I've never seen anything like it. We've had great launches before but this is the biggest." Continuing from GP's sentiment, I hope they never open in Brisbane :/
That girl will be out of a job soon unless she realises that Zara is smart as a pin and manages to put fashion on the floor in a brand new way to most stores. At an economic level, I'm somewhat amazed - but not really - that segment of the fashion market lives pay to pay with fashion being a large expenditure. Zara putting almost exclusive items on the floor at the lowest possible price and direct from the Milan and Paris shows will keep all those girls poor.
