Interested on everyones thoughts on the other graphite prospectors in Aus at the moment like Lincoln Minerals, Monax Mining and Valence industries?

Valence (ASX.VXL) are on a ripper ride this week. I hold a very small parcel, kicking myself for not having trusted my gut and bought a larger amount. Would be nice to make back my CCU losses which is my sell target. Sold out of CCU months ago but still got burnt on them.

    Disclosure - holding ASX.VXL

Have been watching them all for just over a week, would've been great to have jumped on board right away and made a quick buck.

Does seem as though Valence should do well given the graphite mines/exploration in the area. But I still just don't have a good enough understanding of everything involved to feel confident investing in any of it yet.

Some serious gains over the last week, ashame I wasn't awake to all this a month ago. Just reading up about Bora Boras projects in Sri Lanka and yet again get on to see a major spike in the last week, about 50% in 5 days and tripled in a month.

Been watching and reading intently for a few weeks now, trying to work out if any of the other companies are showing signs similar to SYR.

Think BBR (Bora Bora) shows the most potential but I still have a long way to go before pulling the trigger on anything

I'm more than happy to repent of this stock after the whole sector is down. After much researching, decided to jump off the BUX wagon & got into TON. Chalk & cheese & due to the dramatic drop in TON sp today, esp' since the already sharp decline over this & recent weeks, couldn't warrant staying in BUX. TON has the heavy resource volume for the long run, if they can only manage to get the drill results out faster (a slow process).

All the best for those sho got into BUX @ a lower price but I got in too high. Cut my losses & got into the stock I would've up ahead soon anyway. I don't see TON getting down to these lows of today again. I may be wrong but the fundamentals point TON in a very good direction into 2014 year end. i'm in this for the long run regardless. May have a long way to meet SYR but that's no concern to me. it's always a punt with these small caps.

I'm still in MRF but the whole graphite sector is so overheated right now imo. I'm not surprised the general sell off in the market today has been amplified in the graphite sector. TON does have a lot of potential in it though. Bauxite and zinc companies are also worth watching atm as well.

Thanks for the tips there Caput. Also, TON has Vanadium as a side line play.

One of the few in my mining portfolio that's not big time negative.
