Demonizing digital currencies? And why do they specifically mention "bullion" in the example? And if they are so worried about avenues for money laundering, why not cover the billion-foot elephant in the room - massive money laundering through realestate?

"This means if a reporting entity was to sell over AUD10,000 worth of bullion in exchange for bitcoin there would be no obligation to submit a threshold transaction report,"

Is there much interest about Bitcoin in this forum after all it is an unregulated currency.

With all the manipulation and shtf talk here I'd thought Bitcoin unlike PM would be shunned.

Doesnt Bitcoin have the fundamentals of vapourware compared to Silver/Gold and isn't it the easiest currency to manupulate?
