Hey there! How's it going? I am travelling to Sydney in November and have decided to attend the Gold Symposium conference with my friend from Los Angeles. Have some questions (A) Which is the nearest accommodation to the venue? (B) Is there anyone from the US coming to meet and greet at the conference? (C) Is there any bullion companies presenting at the conference where you can buy gold and silver? (D) How far is Sydney Airport to the conference venue? Would appreciate any answers to my questions. This is my first trip to Australia and it would be good if I could meet any Americans at the Gold Symposium Conference. Cheers
Website is working fine for me? Welcome traveler. The event is in North Sydney - any of the North Sydney hotels should be within walking distance. The location is about 20km from the airport depending on which route you take - someone from Sydney could confirm but I'm guessing under $40 AUD for a cab from the airport to North Sydney. Not sure if you can buy bullion there on the days.
A) Plenty of hotels in Milson's point or North Sydney, can't recommend any though since I have no idea. Close enough to the CBD as well so you could stay at Sheraton or the Hilton in Town Hall if you wanted. D) Under 10km by train. Not on one route though, you have to take the airport line to Central and then change to Platform 16 to Milson's Point.
