    If you're doing Airlie Beach you MUST take your catch to Fish Divine who will cook & serve-up your catch for about $15 per head (2011 price - check it out) - brilliant deal... Malay coconut curry coral trout........ Beer battered perch... Nomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomn.... ;)

    currently in boring Yeppoon, sharing in the loot with two international seagulls
    must say trip going good so far
    poor sambo falling asleep over my rants and there is still another 3 weeks of it yet :O

    no fishing as yet - just travelling and being a taxi
    fishing starts in mackay-proserpine ending around bowen i suppose depends on environment and number two in dacky trackies

    W & F..Did you got straight from Hervey Bay to Yeppoon.. If you did, You missed some great fishing spots like the mouth of the Kolan River, 1770 and Agness Waters!

    You might get them on the way back>?

    Anyway, hope you have a great time on the coast known as God"s waiting room.

    leaving mackay after disappointment with north break wall closed off in mackay... heading for airlie beach area next... hopefully guppies jump on boat and see reef...
    woke up to inferior sunrise over beach n water this morning when compared to outback sunrise.

    so far, i caught a baby fingermark brim and sambo caught baby rock cod... not bad for only 10-30 min fishing :lol:

    at dingo beach and planning to take boat out tomorrow for some mackeral fishing
    oh yeah also drop off bodies over fringe reef... hope they get bored to help bag up some mackerals and trout woot
    high tide around 9am tomorrow morning gives us a whole 12 hours of boating, fishing and snorkeling.

    dingo beach = best place so far
    dissapointed in airlie beach not like how it use to be... to commercialized... not many coconut trees left

    depending on fun, might do it again the following day

    fantasea back in shute harbour still maybe on the cards depends on weather and visibility

    they both did not know about drop bears... they did not see funny side... :(
    saw nappy up near gloucester island side of dingo beach and said dingo took baby... they not laugh... i sick man
    oh well i show them sick when i rock boat that teach em lesson
    never make fun of boat people
