If I did a F2F trade, and I left other guy feedback but he hasn't left feedback and it has been around 5 days, how do I go about this? Should I just leave it and move on?

Give them a reprimand, preferably Pepper Spray.

Just to rant: There is no excuse not leaving trade feedback other than being a newbie and completely clueless. Other than that, a sense of pride of fk you from those not leaving feedback is the likely reason.
I am still waiting for feedback going back two years on one Ebay Account.
    ----------------------
What I would like to see here in SS is:
    - the option to remove Trade Feedback once left (i.e. if the recipient does not leave Trade Feedback in an appropriate window of time). Perhaps close the doors on reneging left feedback for others after 48 hours or so has elapsed.
    +1 to vote.

I generally don't bother hassling others for feedback.
For mine i leave feedback as soon as their part of the transaction is completed not wait for them to leave feedback before i will like some kind of mexican standoff.

I like it and think it is good manners if there is feedback left but don't get too stressed if it doesn't happen. As long as you have some then it's not a race to see who can get the most.

I do forget the odd one here and there, happy to take a reminder slap, doing 40 odd feedbacks takes a lot of time and your bound to forget one at some stage! And yes once they have completed their part of the bargain i leave feedback.
    Silverfunk said it, courtesy.

I would say not to worry too much about it, by this time a lot members here already know you.
I had done so many trades here and my feedback is just half of them, at the same time I had forgotten to leave feedback as well on members with over a dozen +ves. But once again it is a courtesy, fair enough.

Er no. Sometimes I don't leave feedback because the other side wants privacy and doesn't want others to know he did business with me.

After all who would want to be known to have dealt with fishball? That's a like a black mark on your trading record :p .

(Not sure if you're talking about eBay or SS; I'm talking about SS)

I'd say no as well, the world is not perfect and while it is courteous to leave feedback, to remove yours because they did not reciprocate is petty imo.

Some people have had bad trades etc but I have never seen negative feedback on here. Is this because people are scared to give negative feedback as that same person may give negative back?
I know we are all a very nice bunch on here but I have always wondered about this

I have no problems leaving negative if somebody shafts me big time but that hasn't happened yet on SS and hopefully it stays that way.

Isn't there is a function for prohibiting others to leave feedback already?

PM'd a reminder 3 days ago, no response, and yes the member has been on in that time.

I have had one unpleasent experiance but have not left negative feedback. I think reputation counts alot round here and it would have to be a blatent shafting to warrent negative feedback. However in saying that the member who backed out of a trade did do it again to someone else so now i'm thinking that perhaps a 'warning' of negativge feed back may have been warranted. Then again hindsights always 20/20. And perhaps we all have a little bit of a fear of being labled a tell tale. i'd personally like to see more negative feedback. (just not for me :p )

I'm guilty of not leaving feedback.I don't have that function on my Profile and find it a hassle changing for every trade.
Also just because i do a trade doesn't mean its positive or negative every time.Have had trades where i have been nice but the person has been a pain in the butt.
I don't believe in automatic feedback just because a trade has been completed for the many reasons i have mentioned.
I have had people back out of trades due to money issues and personal circumstances-I don't believe that warrants a negative feedback, thats just life.
Don't believe in Negative feedback that pertains to the one trade,if you have an issue out it in General discussions and give the other party a chance to respond in kind.
Am happy to vouch for people and back that up with my own $$ guarentee if the member warrants it.Have done it in the past and have had it done for me.

:) .Ohh yes almost forgot The RomanControl smiley

Please excuse my simple minded ways folks, I just remembered about (thanks to fishball above) Privacy excuses too. Yes, it is true, some don't want to leave feedback in order to keep the transaction hush hush.
I admit; I have done this a few times myself to avoid leaving crumbs - helps for when you are buying foreign taboo objects on Ebay!
