So I have a panda which may be a fake based on the comparison pictures I have found over the internet. I haven't got a chance to weight it yet but it rings like silver when flipped and instantly melts ice and transfers heat from the opposite end and other side of the coin. My issue here is with the placement of the 10 yuan, the design of the 1's and the spacing between the decimal and 999. The reed in is also straight and not slanted. These issus combined with the tests have me confused. Can anyone help. New to the forum but I will try to upload some photos
This is some measurements I took on some fake pandas and eventually received a full refund. The weight of the 2009 coin is 28.83g and should be 31.1g. The thickness of this coin is 3.61mm and should be 2.98mm. The specific gravity (density) is about 7.2 and this should be 10.5 for silver. I also have some pics I might be able to upload later.
