http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160710302197?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Quite strong bidding on that Panda, was hoping to get it sub-200 but no dice. And that is the cheapest 95 S10Y Panda I think. Geez. Market is weak... not for Pandas! >_<
By a long shot, cheapest I could find was going for $450.00 from a seller in the US. Too rich for my blood
The Panda Market just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Gee only six months ago there were plenty of bargins to be found. Now your lucky to see one or two a month and that is with alot of searching. These two 1995 pandas look quite the bargin 270883492069
Yep, Tamo42's latest info in the 1995 thread would indicate now is a good time to buy up graded 1995LDLTs! http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-20679-opinion-1995-variations-1995mdst-1995sdst-1995ldlt.html I wish it were possible to purchase more of these graded Pandas in bulk though... the shipping on individual Pandas cuts into the margins.
The difference between setting a low reserve and a high reserve auction is astounding (volume of bids and final pricing). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260929942110 ($199.99 starting; 2 bidders; 2 bids; final price: $202.49 + $30 shipping). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1991-China-Panda-10-Yuan-NGC-MS-69-Large-Date-/140676232177 ($8.88 starting; 10 bidders; 14 bids; final price: $234.28 + $15 shipping). Might be other factors like shitty ending time and all but still interesting to see the difference in mentality on eBay.
Yes it does cut into the margin, but I see graded Pandas as a long term investment. And the way the Panda market is going it's all good. Lets hope with all the worries about the world economy that the Panda market doesent get to beaten up. Still it's buy buy buy anything Panda for me.
here is a year 2000 panda sold for $45! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-oz-Pure-S...278?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19ccb91616 here is one sold for $57, pictures are little fuzzy http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-China-...983?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eba6e7617
Damn that's amazing. Looks real too at least upon a basic inspection. Anyway, I just won something on eBay and tried to pay for it via Paypal but it didn't work. It seems the seller only takes Visa and Discover but not Mastercard (through paypal), anybody had this happen before? O_O Sent the seller a message asking about it, seems strange as it's never happened to me before.
Maybe it is Paypal problem? I doubt seller can do anything specific about which card he takes. Call your card company, make sure it does not have problem
100% sure not my problem, I just bought another item and paid with my mastercard just fine. I have a few mastercards added onto my paypal account, none of them work for this guy. He only takes Visa, Discover and Bank funded transfer. I am not using any of them if I can help it since my mastercard has best rates. Edit: He's going to ask paypal tomorrow to check... think paypal's acting weird
here has a 2003 panda, current bid is $69, seems pretty low. \ http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-Silver...436?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4161430d04
can anyone tell me the difference between pcgs and ngc graded panda?? it seems most graded panda are ngc graded.. btw are there any counterfeit graded panda???
NGC seems to be more popular in regards to Pandas. I think a lot of it has to do with the conservation that NCS can do while sending the Pandas for grading. Whereas PCGS does not offer a conservation process. There are rumors of counterfeit graded Pandas.
As an added precaution, both NGC and PCGS allow you to check the certification/serial number on their websites.
I have a 2010 PCGS 69 Panda it has at least a dozen spots on it ! Could it have been graded like that?
Yeah, apparently spots don't affect grading. I think grading focuses primarily on the strike, and not so much on the spotting. I've seen a few MS69 coins with spots before. But I think others like Tamo42 are probably the best people to listen to regarding this. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have a bit of experience sending and receiving stuff from NGC - and will be able to comment more on this.
