Hi All, im a newbie here and hoping to get some help. In my travels to japan I came across this bar that i had to buy. I know its legit but i cant find much info on it or can determine its value/rarity and history of it and production. its a 1gram bar dragon limited edition bar from the 1970's or 80s. valcambi credit suisse is all i know of so far. is there a way to lookup the serial numbers?! I have found a 2.5gram version asking $25,000 Singapore Dollars about a year ago of the same exact design. Equals about 28k AUD or 18.6k USD
hi, welcome and yes…valcambi/CS limited production of what they called it ‘panda-gram’ series…I hv the cousin of hat drago… panda, of course… the hardest one is monkey …like hen’s tooth! happy hunting!
Very cool, didnt know there was other animals in the series. are they old lunar bars? do you know what their value is or rarity?
in rarity scale, panda - dragon - monkey (rarest)…these Valcambi/CS bars were not oaintended as lunar bars…only limited productions, more likely for pendants, just like yours… I sold my panda, in mint condition, for $300USD, went to UK…which is the biggest market for CS…and they also have those rose and Buddha theme…
