They come in tubes of 20 from the mint, BB don't provide capsules. The Perth mint put all their coins in capsules, they're the only Mint that does.

I hate when I get my wildlife coins in a plastic slip. I complained to two different retailers about it. They sent them in plastic slips. Now how much more could a capsule be than a double sided slip? And why can't the idiots offer, for the difference in price to ship in a capsule. I'm not asking for anything free. Poor business decisions; Typical of so many businesses; chasing pennies, losing dollars. I now request coins to be encapsulated at my expense if necessary, otherwise I will do no business with imbeciles.
BTW I have no opinion of the retailer in question, just commenting on the ones I've purchased Wildlife from.

Having recently encapsulated 105 coins I can appreciate why they would not

    Is it the cougars?

    This is normal
I usually buy from Gainesville and for my wolves and grizzlies (and even other loose coins such as gold philharmonics) came in plastic sleeves for the loose ones. They will take them out from a tube if they have a < 25 piece order (25 piece in a tube, they will ship a whole tube if order is in multiples of 25)
Capsules for loose orders will eat into their earnings i guess.

Of course, it would have been excellent service if they did ship them in capsules.

Would not eat into their earnings if they charged. They should at least offere the customer the choice of paying extra for encapsulation so the coins aren't nicked in transit.

Was in Perth recently and collected my coins with no problems.

The boys at BB were very helpful and obliging, recommended, thank you.

I think the orders are down at BB, in one night when the price dropped they had 500 orders.

I ordered a week later and the order number was only 500 higher and have recieved it within a week, it is usually 2 weeks.

I was told to use that combine code when i wanted to turn 10 kookaburras into a roll, i emailed and asked if it could be used in the future and got no reply.

So may try it again if needed.

I have only placed one order with BB and so far I am very far from being happy with them, I've had nothing but problems. The order was placed one month ago, I paid via bank deposit on the day and had confirmation the transfer was completed from my bank the next day. After 3 days their website had still not updated my order to show that payment had been received. So I sent them an email, to their credit I got a reply that day and my order was updated but I shouldn't have had to send an email in the first place. The next day I received another email reply from them, different person replying, different info given. I decided to let that go.

A few weeks go past and I've heard nothing from them, I know one of the items was on delay for "2 weeks+" but at nearly 3 weeks I thought I'd send them another email just to see if they knew whenabouts I might receive my order. It has been 8 days now and I have still not received a reply. I don't give a damn who you are and I don't care how busy you are, that is unacceptable. The small savings in price is not worth putting up with that kind of customer service (or lack thereof).

If I got my metal tomorrow, I would still not recommend them. When dealing with sums of money like this, go with somebody reliable.

I'd consider cancelling my order and taking my money elsewhere but the way things are going that would probably just open another can of worms.

Evolution - I have not bought from BB but I have bought from other dealers and it seems to be the norm lately that you get an order confirmation and then wait weeks, sometimes over a month, before you hear from them again. I think they have so many back orders because of delays from the Perth Mint etc that they are simply waiting for the stock to arrive before they contact you again.
I think you would find the same problem if you had ordered from anyone else recently.
At least they responded to your email promptly.

Silver is scarce and if you want to get it without a "get it now" premium you are going to have to wait... simple as that. I have put through a few orders with various dealers over a year or so and minimum is ~2weeks and some time up to 5 weeks, could of got it instantly for more $$ but I weighed the risk.
