    "Large bars easier to counterfeit"
Go buy from Perth Mint or an authorised agent.
Unless you think these groups are counterfeiting silver...

    "large bars harder to store"
As opposed to say, 100 1oz coins? Or 10 10oz bars?
If storing piles of silver is the biggest problem you have, then I think you're doing OK.

    "large bars harder to carry"
You only need to carry it twice - once when you buy and once when you sell.
Again, if you don't have a problem carrying your silver when you finally offload, then you're problem is you don't have enough of it!

    "large bars harder to trade"
You shouldn't be trading at this stage, but accumulating.
When SHTF, you'll have no trouble getting people to buy.

You get more silver for your dollars when you buy BIG.

    At today's prices:
1 oz coin at $46.80 per oz
10 oz bar at $42.40 per oz
100 oz bar at $41.11 per oz

If you have $50K to spend, you would get:
    1 oz coins = 1068 ozs
    10 oz bars = 1170 ozs (+$381 change)
    100 oz bars = 1200 ozs (+$657 change)

So the difference from a pile of coins and a pile of bars is that you get 132 ozs more silver if you chose the bars (or 145 ozs if you chose to buy coins with the leftover change).
If silver goes to $120/oz, thats an extra $17,000 you won't be getting.

    Seriously, it's not rocket science.

100 oz bars are for girls, I'm lookin for 1/4 ton bars LMAO
Seriously I think 10 oz are a good bargain. A lot of people can't pop for 4k at a time and they sell for a reasonable amount over spot.

    I agree with this.
10 oz bars are still decent value if you can't afford 100 oz bars.
It depends on what your goals and your means are.
If I ever had a piece of silver that was 226 kgs, I'd want it cast into a ball so I could roll it around.

That just gave me an idea! If I ever win a lottery, I'll take up bowling and have a ball made from Sterling ;)
