1964 Penny that has in it's age gone a little red. it looks in great condition also.. does something like this add value to a coin. some might call it damage, but the coin is hardly dinged at all. and it is a solid pressing. ok.. so it turns out the pictured don't really do it justice. in front of me now, it looks really quite red. dark brown..
don't care. still like it.. what kind of thing would make it turn red? it's not the typical corrosion that comes on copper coinage.
it has been expose to water when it was in mint state gives it a dusty red tone. if you like this type of toning I have a few coins you might like
I always thought this was had an unusual tone especially for such an old coin. Anyone have an idea of what it might be worth?
