Well of course you do, it's your listing!

Why doesn't the word 'plated' appear anywhere to clearly indicate it is not solid silver or gold ?

Just stating .999 without clarifying exactly which part of the coin is .999 is misleading.

Why doesn't it clearly state what metal the inside of the coin is made of ?

Yes it clear, I dont force people to click buy it now, they do, why dont they google 100 mills, I am allowed to sell these coins, they are not illegal. for the price of $7 do you think your going to get a full gold coin, i think someone is stupid, it has to be plated

    http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/misleading-titles.html

Sellers are not permitted to create titles for their listings that do not accurately describe the item for sale.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

    Listing cancellation

    Limits on account privileges

    Account suspension

Preying on the ignorance of the public, good or bad on their behalf is still fraudulent, no different from a street hustler or 'knock-off merchant at your local ___town".

...and Capone's book keeper probably had 100% satisfaction from his clients (those who could afford an accountant during that time) but that didn't exactly make him an honest man.

Of course it isn't clear. If you want to shill for crooks, shill for crooks. But don't come onto a board of sophisticated pm buyers and try to convince us that you aren't deceiving buyers.

Why don't you clearly state the total silver content of the bar? Well then you wouldn't have any sales.

GP why hasn't this poster been banned?

Yep big day. You are probably the first poster on this board to have a net negative feedback for trades. Congratulations.

At the risk of being contrary, I still don't see it.
It says 100 mills any astute anyone would look up what that meant and wonder why the gold coin they are buying is under 10 bucks,
surely it's not like anyone invested 250k into mills silver or anything?
They are just shiny toy coins.
It's only dumb ignorance that would lead someone to be ripped off by this.

But then I guess we all believe we will get our super one day

Well I guess we have different opinions on the morality of preying on the dumb and ignorant then.

I haven't actually seen these coins... but assuming they don't look exactly the same as real coins I don't really see the problem considering that they're $7 or whatever, as a real gold/silver coin would obviously not be that cheap.
Most people don't actually know what 100 mills means though, so it probably would be good to list them as plated, just so you can say you made it 100% clear and these guys will get off your back lol.

As usual this guy twists the facts to suit... $7 is the starting price of the listings

The coin quoted above sold for $21 - so obviously someone thinks they are getting a 1oz silver coin at a good price

The seller has no problem with this because he views his customers as dumb shits to be taken advantage of
He keeps all listings private just in case others might warn his customers of their ignorance
