I'm guessing your unnamed retail store doesnt know its value, it does happen you know. Better run in and grab it!

At first glance it seems overpriced but peoPle in North America are starting to bid up these oxens at a strong price.
People selling oxens even here for $85+ are being swept up. When I see peeps selling oxens at $100 and people are buying them, I just kick myself in the ol' backside when I had the chance to buy em in the mid $50s.

That time people were telling me oxens were overpriced and look where it's now. Still selling strong.

As far as the ox you found, it happens to many of us at least one time. I found a 2 oz lunars Series I Horse at just a few bucks over spot. So does that mean a 2 oz Lunar horse S1 coin is valued at $73 at the moment?

I've been getting a few here and there though my cost comes around the $60s in the end.

I just checked eBay and now the cheapest are going for high $60s it seems for total costs in the US. Wow

It was merely a few months ago when Oxes would go for $1100 for a roll easy. Sigh..

Oh well, at least I still can cherry pick bits here and there.

If you want to buy a roll at 45 I will take it off you for 50. Or you could PM me this fantastically cheap store.

I had a store like that here that sold kooks/lunars for a good price but that store has been depleted.
I would consider getting a roll (assuming its a local store in Australia) from you there for even a higher price but the shipping would kill me to send it to US. And also assuming if there is even a roll available, lol

Any ugly coin that sells above spot is overpriced as far as I'm concerned.

But as part of the LUNAR SERIES, ox coins take on magical, mysterious powers shared with tigers and dragons, so their true value is only determined by how much collectors/flippers will pay to 'complete the set'.

There are MANY MANY other coins I would rather buy if I was spending $90 per ounce.
But then what do I know - I didn't buy lots of lunars when they were cheaply available a few years ago.

How about it Waievolution? I've sent you a friendly PM asking if you happen to have a link of this store practically 'giving' away these coins. Elemental and I are willing to buy a roll off of you for $5 (or more) per coin. I know how much shipping will be as well from AU.

You will do good deeds and make quick cash.

Maybe this same store has dragons for the same price. I'm looking for horses too.
