Any info on this coin?

    hi all, any information on this coin would be great, value etc....!
    can email pics if need be.

    weighs app 40grams of Silver

    It is round and larger than a AUS 50c coin

    Has a picture of old ships on sea with mountains in background with the words around the outside ' CAPTURE OF GIBRALTAR - VICTORY BY THE MARINES'

    the other side has a picture of an anchor, flower and a sheild that l believe has the union jack on it, above this picture is a paragraph stating
    'Captured by Admiral Rooke in 1704. During war of the Spanish succession. Possession taken by the marines, later withstanding repeated counter-attacks.'

    This coin was found app. 30years ago on a old building site.

    It sounds like it would be a medallion rather than a coin. Have had a little look but will keep trying to see what I can find.
    I have found other medallions with the same reverse as you describe but not the front.
