Aloha, I'm a noob stacker from Hawaii. Started stacking from August of 2012 with junk silver off of the Bay (noob mistake). Found a great LCS here and then started to stack .999 bullion (much cheaper), and now just recently started to stack bars. I found this site a couple of weeks after I started to stack and found myself lurking religiously here daily. I learned alot here and commend GP for a great site. As you can tell I started when silver was on a run up in price. It was very exciting to see the spot rise every week. Now, even thou I purchase every week, I DCA and buy heavier on the dips. Hi and welcome. if you are long term silver/gold believer, i believe the spot is irrelevant, as long as you are buying smart (close to spot, not over priced), as spot will move up and down along the way...hence comment.

I live on the "Big Island", island is called Hawaii, and the county of Hawaii. It is the island furthest east, and the newest with an active volcano that been erupting since about 1983.

Aloha madcowinc, sorry, I have never viewed those movies, but I can tell you that the Big Island is quite diverse. I guess I take it for granted living here all my life, but within a couple of couple hours drive, you could ski or snow board on the slopes of Mauna Kea, then go warm up on the pristine white sand beaches. From lush green vegetation with awesome waterfalls to barren lava field deserts. But there is the cost in living in paradise, everthing that is imported in costs a bit more. Lucky thou, my LCS charges modest premiums
