I received a mail today from a german dealer he said all the libertad 2015 proof 2 oz are in terrible quality and he had to send them back i ordered 3 pieces for a good prize 2 months ago at first i didnt believe him but then i see on the bay they are more cheaper now then before does anybody have problems with there order does anybody received the coins allready if so please let me know what is the quality
We got in multiple proofs a few weeks ago. no quality issues with the coins whatsoever under 8x loupe. I'm considering getting some graded. They are cheaper on ebay right now because Scottsdale has been literally flooding the market on them since they got their order in, that is my opinion on that anyway.
We just found a handful of 2014 Mexican silver libertad coins if anyone is interested. 2014 Mexican Silver Libertad Coins
Looks like they did some BU kilos after all . . . 2000 mintage according to APMEX http://www.apmex.com/product/94658/2015-mexico-1-kilo-silver-libertad-bu-in-capsule
For those who the proof-like kilo is a bit out of their budget, I highly recommend the BU kilo. I do *not* have many kilo coins, but I'm very happy to own a (2012) BU. Grab the 2015 if you can. Crappy blurry pic from an old camera..
I'd be very surprised if we see any 2015 kilo BU Libs in Australia. I think we are now down to a single dealer bringing any Libertads at all into Aus, and only 1oz coins at that.
Theres ways of getting them down to you.... I snagged one Thursday night before spot jumped up! Not sure how many apmex started with, but I'm kinda surprised they haven't sold them all already.
Hello all, regarding the 2015 GOLD libertads....very low mintages according to Don Bailey and others.....especially the BU coins. (Nearly) no coins were available the last couple of months....now....all of a sudden, I find the 1/20 (key date !), 1/4 and 1/2 oz in quite some quantities available at (some) dealers..... Does anyone know if the mintages have been increased (which is denied by the dealers !) ? I find it hard to believe that I can buy those coins all of a sudden ! (and not 1 or 2 coins, but multiples coins !) any help ? THX Tritoon01
They don't increase the mintages after they've been declared from what I know. I also have seen some of the coins turn up, and the prices aren't unreasonable (although shipping to the US isn't cheap).
Exactely ! I find it fishy I saw prices +200 usd for the 1/20 oz at ebay....and I would not buy it at that price....but it was not unreasonable for a key date...apart from being a Libertad... most coins have + 1000 or + 10.000 mintages...
