probably an error I'd say or privy coins. They arent going to to sell them for $57 a coin then $39 in a box of 100.
Well spotted RetardedMonkey. That price has literally dropped in the last 48 hrs. Great news for anyone who missed out. Cheers. It also puts a mighty axe through some other sales.
Amusing isn't it. They adjusted the price by a few bucks some months ago to make it '888', the chinese lucky number.
I'd be very interested if anyone got and order in at $39 a coin and if Ainslie will honour it, but given their track record I seriously doubt it.
really? At $39 a coin that must have been below what they bought them for from the Perth Mint last year ?
I reckon at the time dealer allocations were locked in, spot was approx AUD$30.50-$31.00. Then add the usual perth mint margin on top, and I reckon you're right, it would come pretty close to $39. That is all a guess, based on my fuzzy memory. But then again, if Ainslie are now seeing these as bullion not numi, they would simply replenishing their working inventory with more bullion, now that spot has dropped. EDIT: Congrats to those who scored this bargain today. Let's hope they can honour it with delivery!
That WAS the bargain of the day! (Only just saw it here now ... well done to anyone & tnx to RM for posting). It will be interesting to hear how fulfillment goes! Keep us posted?
+1, that is a good point. Nice work RM on sharing the love. And Maggie on coming very close to another great group buy. Unlike some others, who keep the bargains to themselves. You know who you are. I fart in your general direction.
Does any one know what the dealers price on the 1 oz gold BU dragons was when they were locked in? Should we expect a discount on the Gold dragons 1 oz BU next?
Gold spot was about $1805 AUD on the day from memory - could be wrong, would have to look it up. The retail on the 1oz gold was 5% over Perth Mint Ask.
