1994 1 oz with toning

    I have a 1994 1 oz silver panda with tonina in the border or oxide?
    I will put a Photos after.
    If it oxide the coin how much lost of your valu?

    Depends on how bad toning is, toned coins can still sell for an ok premium.

    Yup, toning is normally acceptable, especially with older Pandas.

    When have time. I think in the weekend i take a few Photos. I dont know if its toning or oxide.
    Im new in silver stacking. And new new in pandas

    i make a lot of photos but the tone dont saw in any
    i put the photos but the red colour is the reflex

    the toning is only in the photos number 1 and 3

    Toning can be 'fixed' in about 20 seconds in a bath of bicarb, foil and hot water.

    Many stackers LIKE toning on silver, it's a preference thing.

    But considering how easy it is to clean, it doesn't really matter and I'd strongly suspect it'll have zero impact on the resale value of your silver.

    All silver tarnishes with age as a by product of coming into contact with the air, even capsulated ones.

    So don't stress.

    Sorry bumping up old thread.
    Just picked up a few toned coins. Is the method mentioned above works 100%? Will it bring them back to their former glory?
    I'm collecting some coins for my kids and I'm not sure what they'll look like when I'll pass them on to them many years from now :|
