Folks, I gave up half way thru reading this thread. ALL WHITE NOICE................... Come back in 12 months. Enjoy the ride. This forum is AWESOME but gets cluttered up in day to day crap. Look at the big picture. Where & what is going on all around the globe. You all have interent access & power & water. Who give a rats ass abount a few $$$ difference in the value of PM's? You are all on this forum because you are AWAKE to what is going on. CHILL & enjoy the journey. And as for footy grand finals....................... Entertain the masses & you control them.
Welcome aboard, you sure picked an interesting time to join up! What is the local market like in Indian.. I heard that a lot of silver jewellry was dumped onto the market to be replaced with gold jewellry as everyone upgraded! What do you collect? Have you got any numismatics or are you only into bullion?
Very true - I think it's human nature to get caught up in the short term drama and lose sight of the future. Can't see the forest for the trees sorta thing. I made my first ever foray into PMs mid-yesterday, so I lost less than those that bought at the top, but still a substantial amount that I would have not lost, had I bought just 12 hours later. It's been a valuable lesson for me and I admit I feel disheartened now ... I had been waiting patiently for months for a drop, then jumped the gun by mere hours. But your post helps me put things in perspective. My first, tiny amount of silver losing a couple of hundred bucks value (total) will mean nothing if SHTF and PMs go through the roof again (especially if I buy more while prices are low). And hey, even if it doesn't, I'm not as heavily invested as some, so no big deal. Still get some interesting, shiny coins to look at in the meantime
I seriously doubt that our 18 year old Indian stacker friend has any nuclear weapons pointed at Pakistan, just like you haven't been shooting up wedding parties in Afghanistan. If you can imply that old mate gitanshkooldud(e) is responsible for his government's follies, then we can all start blaming you for that damn insulation program that ended up killing all those unfortunates. But if you're happy to lead with your chin, I got a whole bunch of complaints about the dumb arse policies of the Australian government that I have been itching for the opportunity to blame someone for. How about it Earthjade, are you responsible for Gillard, Swan, Wong, Rudd, Garrett, Combet, that wanker Crean? What about that prick Mark Habbib reporting into the US embassy? You responsible for his traitorous activities? Why don't you get the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan and stop wasting my damn tax money? And if it was you who started the bloody Carbon Tax thing, I'm sure there are a few people around here that would enjoy knocking some sense into you? What about those kids you're driving nuts keeping them looked up in detention you son of a b....!!!! No? That wasn't you, huh? Oh, I apologise for my ignorant stupidity. :/
Hi All, I would like to apologise for the comments I posted last night, way over the top, I was just reading this forum and read my post from last night and I honestly do not remember posting it, this was after a dozen + ales and seeing Collingwood win was very traumatising for me as for most I imagine. I can only think I logged on here to buy some Ag and see none available went on said rant, I have nothing against the dealers on ss and have had only good experiences with traders here. Cheers
Yeah, sorry about all of that. I'm working on it and I'll get back to you. If you don't like it, you can vote me out next election. But on a more philosophical level: yes...I am responsible for it all.
And on that, I will also apologise for my rather short response to your post. Without knowing the circumstances, it struck me as a little unfair at the time, and caused me to write a reply in defense of said dealers and forumgoers.
Anyone can make a mistake, takes a person of high character to admit one was made and apologize. Cheers to you mate!
I apologise. I am working on my tolerance for the ignorant and the mundane, but clearly I have some ways to go. And if you really are morally part of that system of government that keeps kids in detention until they start sewing their mouths shut, burns people in their homes by encouraging bikie gangs to install insulation, taxes people more than they can bare and destroys peoples freedoms with every breath you take, then I pray for your enlightenment that you may avoid the karma of such choices.
I bet if the stupid committee full of ignorant public servants who decided to impose those beepers on workers in factories who have to listen that sound all day, had to work their 7 hours 34 minutes a day with a beep beep beep everytime they rolled back on their expensively plush ergonomically correct office chairs, they'd repeal the idiocy of fixed reversing beepers quick smart. Back on topic: I'm hoping to see ounce coins down near $30 again. I think this is the powers that be attempting to kill the metals ponzi scheme and get to 1:1 (much easier to control and steal) All us PM holders are just pessimistic revisionists who should adhere to the party line and trust the leaders to fix this, not upset their good works by hoarding our wealth in gold and silver. We should be out buying big televisions, investment properties and holidays on the gold coast to get the country working again.
Will silver ever recover ? With my stock picking talents ( you know the deal - buy, see a nice rise, sit on it, it falls to less than you paid, you don't sell, it becomes worthless ) I am getting a little nervous about my stack.
