I bought one of them from GS the other month. When I was handed it with the other coins it looked like half an ounce. I don't like the dimensions or style.

Has anybody seen this sort of mark on a 10oz PM bar there are 2 raised X's on the bar in the middle of what looks like a slightly raised blob.
https://www.silverstackers.com/forums/index.php?threads/perth-mint-silver-bar-styles.32989/ Here is alink to the various PM bars varieties. You might want to ask gold pelican to update the pics as it was very comprehensive with pics
Most bars have divets, up bits, down bits, doesn't affect the value. Look at it as 'unique' lol - when you sell it, mention that it has a birthmark.
Guten Tag Fishermans friend, those are very nice Perth mint bars, the 10oz are C type very collectable it's important to also look on the back for serial numbers as for the 20oz Perth it's not often seen and should have a serial number in the back between 000-1000 that is the known range. ich spreche Deutsch but nicht gut... Your English is just fine.. Lol
Super Rare Type B with A prefix on Serial...Plus all known (that is 4) are 10.00ozs so I feel that all this style, until proven differently are 10.00ozs.
Now that's a fine 5oz and 10oz Perth pictorial... U Always find the cool stuff... I always like to add the cool stuff
Hi Bigfella, are you suggesting another Type D1 or 2 variety or different/error in stamping at time of manufacture, would be interesting to compare further specimens and see if you have identified another species.
I do believe it may be a New variety of Type D check out AE site as the 2 examples on there have the same front stamping. Have sent images to AE and will see what they come back with once he is back from Holidays. http://allengelhard.com/the-collections/lesser-refiners/perth-mint/
