I’d like to thank very much a member for messaging me.
They asked a very fair and important question. And to be honest, because I took the photo, and have viewed the coin many times over the years I didn’t see a point in the photo that looks like a crack or ding on the capsule or the coin.
If you look at the back of the birds neck you’ll see what could easily be taken as a crack or dint etc..
To be sure I’ve just gone over that with a magnifying glass.
There’s no crack or ding.
It’s actually a reflection of light across what seems to be a deeper than intended part of the mould, or something like that.
I assure bidders that all is well in my view.
If anyone would like any closer pix let me know.
