$2000 to $500,000 with penny miners.

I use Interactive Brokers for ASX and international shares, ETFs, CFDs and binaries but their platform is not really suited to investors new to trading and requires a minimum balance of $10,000 USD to be maintained.

I use FXTM for trading forex

I did look in to boom but i ended up with Etrade. Ask yourself what you need and then start going through the reviews. I got a bit snowed under comparing all the options bet eventually settled on Etrade Bit expensive and useless for heavy trading but ok for getting and holding a position. The broker reviews will help. If you have more than $10,000 look in to Interactive brokers

On the upside i have worked out how to access TSX
 
Placed order to sell 8000 ARU and transfered some more funds. aiming to buy $600+ silver play later today. Fairly sure i am happy to risk Silver Mines ASX. Account is up almost $90 EXU doing well.
 
sold 8,000 @ ARU for small loss Etrade is down so cant say exactly. This frees up plenty of cash, to get silver mines or klondike silver . I have around 4,000 left in ARU to hold (about $200).
 
Just went to buy a TSX stock and etrade has a $2000 min per trade on foreign stock. I wish that had been pointed out before, i would have gone elsewhere for a broker. so its all ASX.
 
I am looking at Investigator res, Argent minerals, santana minerals, Genisis, Apollo and Musgrave. Any warnings ? Oh and Azure

I joined Commsec early last week so I can buy some Brazil Resources Inc shares off the TSX and I'm still waiting for my account to be opened. Meanwhile I've been watching BRI share price slowly increase. How long does it take for commsec to activate an account?
 
I dont know with comsec but i think it took over a week for mine to set up after all details were provided. It took three or four days for the initial funding to show up on my balance sheet. Now it usually comes in within the day. Rocket , could yo let me know what is the minimum value share purchase on foreign stock <. Etrade is $ 2000 so that cuts me out for now. Pissed, there are so many promising silver miners in TSX.
edit It is nail biting when your watchlist stock wont wait for you BRI.
