How out of the question is space mining for gold

Speaking of which, the Apollo 11 film magazines have been scanned and put on line http://next.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/images11.html Magazine 40 has some absolutely stunning colour photos of lunar surface, lander etc. Gotta say that LM looks pretty flimsy... Source: Nasa Apollo 11 Image Library

    Coin appraisal

It's always worth getting a second opinion. I'd also get an appraisal from Jaggards or Downies.

Check this ebay seller out hahaha

Reminds me of the day I was visiting the local coin shop ... A lady comes in with a coin collection inherited from her recently deceased father, wanting a valuation. Shop attendant opens the coins on the counter, pauses for a few seconds, then starts laughing uncontrollably. I'm shocked. What...

    Loans to finance PM purchases

I have a bankwest lite MasterCard with a 10.75% rate, but balance transfers are 5.99% It's useful for smaller loans, where you know you can pay it off before the rate reverts. Ps: some of the margin lenders will lend on listed securities like the GOLD ETF. That's pretty risky though, for two...

    Newbie from Melbourne

G'day and welcome Pi88y. I'm a fan of the sovs. They are just the right price to be able to afford a regular purchase. They were produced in the UK, Indian, Canadian and Australian mints and widely used throughout the colonies and across the middle east. Very recognisable and easily traded...

    List of recommended dealers

Maybe GP can raise some revenue by selling a "stackers approved" logo to the dealers who meet some basic criteria for service, security, delivery etc.? It may provide some comfort to new stackers who aren't familiar with established dealers. Mistered.

I got a quote on a bullion sov which was very competitive against the other nearby dealers (which if you're a Melbourne local are very well known). Didn't get a silver price.

    Australian Coin and Bullion Exchange

Just stopped in for a squiz during my lunch hour. They've only just opened, not a lot of stuff on display yet, you can still smell the fresh paint! Nice layout and the staff were very friendly. Selling mostly their own refined ACB silver and gold bullion bars, and some gold coins (ie. sovs and...
