Please note that the picture I have included is double sealed OMP and it is not the coin I purchased. The asking price for the double sealed OMP is $180.00

    Hi Shibaji,
Do you know anything about this coin? I read in the other forum that this could be the 5th coin in the 1992 Historical Figures Series. Any ideas why the 4 coin set in the 1992 series sells for $1180 on ebay? More than twice the amount for the other sets?

There are 5 coins in the 1992 set and the complete set should be 41 coins, instead of 40 coins.

Personally, Zheng Chenggong is one of the very few I can remember out of the 41 historical figures. When you think of Taiwan, you remember Zheng Chenggong.

I bought this in PF68 for $115. The 1992 is a rarer year for HF, not too sure why but it just is.

Heh I only remember Zheng Chenggong because his "Chenggong" = Successful which I find funny :p

Out of the HF coins the ones that come to mind first are:

Li Si Zhen (watched too many Chinese medical shows in Hong Kong...)
Su Shi (sounds like Sushi...)
    Yue Fei
    Lao Tse
Sun Wu (Sun Tzu art of war)
    Li QingZhao
    Hua Mulan

My least favorite HF year is 1993.

The people are shyt in that year (ie. bunch of communist bastards)

Hahaha. Not sure who are featured in the 1993 series, but I like Zhou En Lai.
