Thanks, so the law was written to stop direct attack at the government / putin.

I still reckon in this case though some bureaucrat looked at it and thought lets get this "prick" without thinking through the reaction.

Much few months back Australian Immigration and police officers were going to stand around Melbourne main streets and "ask" randomly for visa or what ever identity papers lol. That got retracted fast.

Now with this until the judgement comes out not sure what to make of it. Western media was stating 3 year, now 5 years, but that is the maximum.

Also I still haven't seen the original.

Out of curiosity, I check out the church as it seems to big to be a local run of the mill church.

Gees, it is not any church... it is a significant historical church.

The Church where some of the members of the last Tsar was shot.

If it was Westminster abbey or St Peters Cathedral which have security policies and the kid was being a dickhead enough to have details taken by the church security who passed it to police, than actions of few junior official could have just snowballed.

^^ even the riot girls, why did they chose a church?
I'm not that religious but still I frown about that.

They could have done that in front of putting house or Kremlin

That is why that law was written. It protects common people feelings and not Putin.
And just look how polite Russian police if someone makes something like that on red Square lol

Yeah because the sacrificed solders would be pissed at that and not the fact they were sent off to die for no reason.

Australia has officially hit retardation levels of military circle jerking. People cant even walk there dogs on an Anzac walkway in Newcastle. Funny amongst all of this no one listens to what the people that actually went to war have to say...

he wont get 3 years it's just to scare people off, Russia doesn't want another pussy riot
