Have held one in my hand, didn't feel any different from any other crown, was told later on what it was worth! the joy of going to coin clubs and meeting members!
I like the Latvian square Water coin too. But they're all pretty expensive for only 92.5 fineness. Maybe someday when I have some profits from my silver I'll get one.
Efffff, now I want it bad again. I had forgotten about it till I searched my picture LOL The cheapest I can find it for is 99, but it's only 20.7 grams. I could buy 93.3 grams for the same amount
I saw a nice moon coin but it was ruined by having a lump of dirt in it and some graffitti Source:http://www.eurocollections.com/images/product/ap812.jpg Moons are round and silvery and so are silvery rounds so I thought it was an apt pairing! Other than that I wants me pirate money, 8 Reales (cob and properly minted), and a dubloon, arrrrrrrrrh. Which I will buy, nothing stopping me really other than laziness in not researching them a bit more thoroughly.
Would anyone be interested in a bar shaped like Australia. What if you could have a gem set anywhere you wanted, like wherever your hometown was? I'm taking a casting class first week of November. I thought maybe a small country one too, about 1/4 size of a 1oz bar to wear around the neck might be cool too
I want a coin with animals on both sides, one of which is a platypus. When I say Animals, I mean no Liz.
I always knew Canada had Liz, but I was surprised to find out so many Aussie coins had 'er too. I sure hope we don't have to buy coins with Charles and that nose on the back one day
Sorry,no platypus, but this might have become our legal tender $1.00 coin,if the powers that be favoured it. Commonly known as the Goose dollar, but anyone can see it is a swan. The other side is Aussie wattle. 1500 Specimen minted.750 in proof form and 10 in gold...although two gold were lost to fire,so the legend goes.
Hiho, have you never seen a swan? It has much more grace than a goose. And are different species of bird. Thems the facts, mate
It really is. I can see Liz at the very top of the second picture I think. Gotta hand it to eurocollections, they have some cool stuff. It's where I first saw the Latvian Amber Eye
