Has anyone got a wish list?

Is there a coin out there you wish you could have?

    New or old.

Nop, I stack bullion for the metal content, not interested in numismatics or the wow factor of the coin.

I don't know, but they did sell out very quickly.

Back when spot was US$30/oz (i.e. a few weeks ago), these were selling for US$3,000 on ebay.

Now they are selling on APMEX for US$3,500: http://www.apmex.com/Product/60155/2010_Silver_Aztec_Calendar_KILO_3215_oz___W_Box__COA.aspx

You can find them on US eBay for around $2,600 USD on auction. Some Buy It Now items are higher though.

I wouldn't mind a spade guinea, but I'd settle for a quintuple sovereign or a platinum Noble.

This is high on my list.America's first commemorative dollar.Sometimes referred to as the Lafayette Dollar. Obverse depicts General George Washington and French nobleman Lafayette.Buddies in the War Of Independence. This side is Lafayette on his noble charger.

    Scruffy Rabbit ;)

I need an Ox now to get my Lunar II current, I just ordered the display case from AMPEX tonight.

I wish I had of bought a gold Medal of Honor gold coin when I started collecting a few months ago when they were low 300's, now they're mid 500s from the US Mint without any fluctuation is spot price.

    I've always wanted a 1oz Krugerrand too.

Yeah, I know I have pretty plebeian taste

Not surprising.. its easily the most scarce and sought after NZ coin and second only to the 1930 penny for all australasian Numismatics. Its a fantasy coin for me.. love the design, rich historical signifigance and the fact its so so rare.

My wish list changes as i source my desires. At present it is just a 20 Franc Angel and other 20 Franc coins with Napoleon on it.
I'm sure more will arise as i come across them.
    Keeping the desires real.
