Confirmed with a Perth Mint primary distributor tonight that the mintage limit of 300,000 for the specimen bullion coin will stick - actually I'm pretty sure it's a legal requirement to be maintained from when Series II was originally approved by the federal government for this series to be released - it's a capped mintage by law in that size. Varieties such as coloured and gilded however have no limits.
Sometimes I try to take over the world - but that's a bit of a head-frak at times. Am I pissed or is there an automatic spell checker on this site?
I was thinking whether the Perth Mint would be adding on extra premiums on this yr's silver bullion lunar release, purely because the dragon will be in such in high demand. But I guess not as pre-orders are already being taken by dealers
I would call more than $10 over spot an extra premium. My fear on the dragons is that they will be a sell out on issuance and thus have the high premiums. It looks like my fear is being realized. Now I will have to decide what I will do.
