My favorite piece is the first oz of Ag I ever brought - 1oz First Majestic round - the one piece which started the whole process of discovery and the one piece I'll never sell

Personally, anything from the Perth mint - Kooks, Koalas, Lunars, and their bars. Followed by PAMP.

Live local, buy local, exchange local when SHTF.

(That isn't to say I haven't got other stuffs, I do, but would gladly swap the odds I have for Aussie stuff).

    Depends on the day
1990 Kooks - first design and still very nice.
First Majestic 10oz and 5oz - a bar with a proof like finish.
Scottsdale Omnia - encompasses everything nice about silver rounds.
Oh, and 1/4oz Lydian lions - they're just really cute.

Of the coins that I own, my favorite is the 2011 somalia elephant coin with the mother and baby elephant. Of the coins that I don't own, my favorites would be the Maccaw, and the 2008 kookaburra.

i like mexican .999 onzas (1982-1995). i like them because they look spectacular and feel great to handle. i'm not a big fan of the liberdads (1996-1999, and even less so 2000-2006). and there's also a 925 onza which looks striking but it doesn't feel quite right. i find it interesting that the 925 onza (1978-1980) weighs more - since the silver is less pure it requires a larger coin in order to achieve the full ounce. even american eagles don't feel good and lots of coins that are supposed be nice, just don't seem to have gotten it all together - but i've got an affection for those onzas, they seem perfect.

as far as rounds go, i am not a fan of that buffalo coin - i find it a bit tacky, but nowhere as bad as that standing liberty, that's the worst! i do like the indian/eagle (besides it looking strikingly handsome, it is slightly bigger in diameter and 25 can fit into a tube). anyone care to comment on their least favorites? mine's that standing liberty.

rounds don't seem designed to handle, just to stow away somewhere.

    1, 2, 3, 5 or 10s? I have two 3s and a 2
I'm a big fan of hand poured. So much so, that I plan on making my own in the near future.
I'm taking a casting class, mainly for jewelry, but I want to apply it to making some unique hand cast bars. I know you can do it easily, I've seen a bunch of videos on youtube, but plain ole chunks of silver is not what I'm going for.

Tasmanian Electrum is the most beautiful silver ive ever seen

it looks like a Silver wizards staff (10x microscope) with small blobs of gold sticking out the side of it and a big orb of gold on top, 100% natural and so amazingly beautiful
