It seems inevitable now that silver will bust through the US $18 mark soon enough. You predict what week this will happen..... .
tomorrow or bust! Actually i think next week is the most likely otherwise the price will creep back down, but definitely looks bullish recently.
My last silver short was Oct-Nov 2014 and I made about 60% on the trade. I almost did a similar trade in the same time period last year, but I was too lazy to put it on. My guess for a silver low is around $10, not $12. Since silver broke over around $16.18, it has been headed to the $18 area. We shall see what happens from here. I have as much silver as I want and even if the price dropped to $10, I would probably just swap out my semi numi lunars, kooks, etc. for ASEs. The USD, which has gone down ever since Obama met with Yellen, is now in the bottom of a support area. We know they are stupid enough to think they can lower the USD to a certain level and stop on a dime and if they manage to cause a loss of confidence in the USD, all bets are off on everything. But a crashing USD would do more to damage Obama's legacy tour than anything else, so I expect this is the short term peak for commodities and a short term low for the USD. Deflation would be the easiest scenario to profit from, but my investments are balanced between inflation and deflation.
Amen brother. I cashed out of some silver 'paper trade' via ownx.com at 17.90. I figure it may go to 18.50, which is a wall, but I think we have some consolidating...I could be wrong, but I'm rolling the dice to get some cheaper silver stuff. I hoping I can get some for 16.50 or lower.
Who was shorting silver recently? I seem to remember someone was shorting silver in the past 2-3 months.
