    I place lamb on Australia Day in the same category as Easter hot cross buns, Chocolate eggs at Easter, Lollies for kids on that horrid US encroachment to our culture called Halloween, presents at Xmas (Un-wanted crap), White weddings, A diamond engagement ring, Valentines day, Boxing day sales and all the other commercialized crap that folk think they have to spend their hard-earned cash on.

    If you want lamb on Australia Day, or any other day, so be it; if you prefer a toasted vegemite and cheese sandwich with a few anchovies on top with a stout chaser, so be it.

    Try not be suckered in to Commercialism!

    Mmm, roast underground mutton might be the go. ;) :)

    No mention of Australia Day in the ad as it was apparently offensive. Interesting that after years of Sam Kekovic making fun of everyone they surrendered to political correctness.

    i was in a waiting room yesterday and happened to be watching channel 9 afternoon news (forgive me, it wasn't my TV). they had a story about animal activist demonstrations and blockades at an abattoir. 2 stories later they showed this lamb australia day thing.
