at the time the gold bars were right in front of me, back in China town, but have no clue of how to buy them 1 kilo about SGD 19,000 eBay were started posting after 2005-2006, so there were not much alternative to buy silver, only gold no online forum for sure locally we just look at how people trade Futures contracts etc and paying high service fees many people thought that they must pay GST, when the rule change 2012, they were frustrated due to their own ignorance some people park in freeport etc but one can buy paper and wait for the law change to take delivery, just need to pay storage
I can’t speak to those here on the board, but I have quite a network of people who are longtime buyers. As I noted in my post above, I started buying in 1993, and have never stopped. Again, if you’re speaking solely about this board, I can’t speak to it, but for my purposes I would say there are an awful lot of people who have stacking for decades. Just my 0.02
Agree with you. I was talking to Alor about our local stacking community. We had one forum goldclubasia.com that was created in 2007 or around there, and died when everyone moved on to bitcoin and cryptos. People here are very practical, they don't really care about the hobby aspect, if it doesn't make money, it (or he) will be dumped. It's only about the dollars and cents.
