Didn't he give us his "word" that he won't contest for leadership again?

So what's the use of trusting some guy to lead our country when he can't even stay true to his word.

Fuck this system is so fucking [email protected]#

Why would they decide to keep their word now ? Haven't in the past. Perhaps may not be with Labour but I would be pretty sure they will stay in some capacity. Palmer anyone !

I know politicians don't keep their words very often but this is it for one or the other. The party won't let the loser stay and it's a bit different saying you will quit if you lose. Remember, both of these politicians still have credibility with sections of the public. I doubt they would have any credibility with anyone if they refused to quit politics after saying they would if they lost.

Politicians stay true to their word. Why would they be called honourable otherwise?

When the spill was called I asked by wife, a lifelong Labor voter until we met, what she thought of Rudd V Gillard and this 4 year soap opera of leadership:

    "I don't know. It doesn't matter."

The ALP. Driving away its' own voters since 2007.

The best twist would be Shorten stabbing Rudd IF he won the election.

    Yes agree, great call "ShinyStuff"

Now down to business, do you predict we will all get some more Rudd money now in time to buy a new TV before the deciding State of Origin game?

Tks folks... My new prediction is that Labor will scrape thru at the August election.... We will have Rudd for quite a few years. Let's see if I can do two for two.
