Republic Metals is very excited to give you the opportunity to tell us what Design Themes you would MOST like to see on a silver coin.
ONE RULE: ONLY design THEMES will be considered! Single coin suggestions will be for another day :)

After we gather a nice amount of themes, we will create a survey with all the themes you will suggest and put it to a vote!
Republic Metals unfortunately can NOT ensure that the themes voted on will actually be put into production. However, there is a HIGH probability that the top voted theme will in fact be produced. Making a coin from the start is a long process but we are taking all of you along for the ride with sneak peeks and your comments and suggestions.

    Don't even think about zombies.
    Animal themes are overdone.
    Greek/Egyptian/Norse mythology is passe.
I'd say go with guitars, but you'd probably get a headache getting permission from Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, etc. before you want to even bother making designs.
The pirate market is probably over saturated.

Make a bunch of Art Deco inspired designs. I'd buy them if you don't charge Scottsdale Mint prices.

Cool, I never knew about that. I was thinking a guitar design in a round, but I wouldn't mind having that Les Paul model.

It would have to be radically different from what is already available from all the other mints otherwise it won't stand out from the crowd.

So no colourising, antiquing, or gluing bits of moon rock onto it, probably avoid the overdone shapes like Australia, squares and spheres, or exploded cubes. Scratch and sniff has been done, bi, tri and quadruple metallics are played out. Forget putting it in a plastic Millennium Falcon or TARDIS, been there done that! Forget Marvel super heroes or cartoon characters. Wildlife is not exactly hard to come by. Other country's myths and calendars are more interesting than our own but meh!

That leaves you with something round in shape, not covered in paint, made of silver, with the weight and purity stamped on it in a plastic capsule. If you stick the year on it you will have a theme as it will change every year, I would make the effort to collect something like that.

Since Republic Metals is a U.S. based company most of the customers will likely be American buyers. So what about a patriotic theme. Patriotic themes tend to do well I believe.

Individual subjects on rounds of this theme-based series can be people who helped to shape this country (can include a Supreme Court Justice or two as just one example of many), places, ideas and values, and objects like the Liberty Bell as just one of many possible candidates.

The coins that tell a story are most interesting to me. There's plenty of riveting stories to be told in a patriotic themed series.

    Patriotic theme is my suggestion.

Surely you mean SilverPete avatars? Plenty to collect there.

    Long as they're animated.

Actually ANYTHING, as long as it's animated! Like in the future!
