That introduction he gave sounds rather like Objectivism philosiphy It's amazing to hear the figures bouncing around on gold income though.
"and please, don't borrow money" I'm actually not sure it meant anything but just love the New York accent.
I've watched him on and off for a while. He has some good messages, but he does come across preachy at times, or more like a used car salesman. He's like me in that he has a very strong aversion to debt. It's a path to both slavery and freedom, but the vast majority of people out there get hit with the former, assuming they won the latter. Australia is no different. What I found very interesting was the bizarre fluxuations in wage income in real value over the years. Right now, we're getting screwed on the value of our labour which harps back to previous discussions I've had on why I personally buy gold and silver - it better represents future potential for realisation of undervalued labour today.
Haven't watched the video yet, but if measured in ounces of gold, I'm earning exactly what I was earning 15 years ago :/
Same. But 15 years ago, an ounce paid for about a week and a halfs rent, now it pays for a whole month, for me anyway.
