    So I have the oppurtinity to buy the below Harrington 1 oz bar for a decent price over spot.

    Is it worth it? As in is it a rare bar totally worth the premium, or one of the common ones (if there is such a thing).

    Also take into consideration I may be able to get it with it's original receipt.

    Would appreciate the input from fellow stackers, thank you

    Every so often, you should indulge yourself. Stacking is not a selfless pursuit.

    These Harrington pill bars are a must have for any serious collector of vintage gold.
    I’d also like to know how rare these bars are, especially one stamped with four 9s

    I guess it comes down to 2 things in my personal opinion...

    * are you comfortable with paying the premium for it?
    * if someone looking for advice asked you the same question, what would your answer be?

    I can definitely see why pay such a premium for those bars, and they are beautiful. However, I wouldn’t go for it, based only on my personal stacking objectives.

    Been collecting these bars for over 10 years.
    Probably picked up only about 1/2 dozen total!
    Only have 1 left and I am not selling it anytime soon
