Here's a small contribution of info - http://expeditionwriter.com/?p=884 "In news that has not yet reached mainstream outlets, underwater salvage company Deep Ocean Search has just announced the successful salvage of the SS City of Cairo, a World War II-era steamship loaded with 100 tons of silver coins. The lost ship was sunk in almost 17,000 feet of water, making the recovery effort the most substantial to ever take place at the extreme depth." So that's another 100 tons worth of supply there are some conflicting info on the size of the haul though. I wonder whether any of the coins will or be worth making their way into the market or will be melted like the treasure found for the other ship (sorry, name of that other recent treasure ship found escaped my mind)
