999 Minted. Craftsmanship at it's best!! Seriously. This is amazing stuff. Why haven't these sold out yet? Disclaimer: For the CMF spies out there. Yes, I collect these. I love them. They are one of my favorites of the new Chinese medals. Because they are my favorites, and because they are in my treasure chest, and because I have more than 3 of them, doesn't mean I'm a speculator. There's some fella out there on the forums, that says, if you collect more than one, you are a speculator. This guy either has no kids, or he's incredibly selfish, or he's been looking at his belly button for too long. I happen to have 3 kids, 1 I adopted from China. I collect for them and myself. And If we happen to open a website (chinesemedals.com) to sell some of these medals, it doesn't make me a pumptart or a speculator. I'm just trying to earn few bucks, while I do something I thoroughly enjoy - and providing great products, quickly, at competitive prices. Not a single issue of a Chinese coin or medal has been totally depleted from my treasure chest. Nor with they ever be. Will I sell one, a few, or several? Sure. But only for the benefit of those who are interested in collecting them too. I know some active members from that other forum may read this. I know who you are. I mean no disrespect you in what I'm about to say. But there are some clowns on that site, who come across as old, stoggy, and stuck in their ways. I'm sure they also offer a lot of wisdom. Awesome. I won't be making my disclaimers this long moving forward.
Pumptards: 1) generally pump an item for the main or often sole purpose of luring others into having interest in buying the pumped product so that the pumptard can dump / sell this product as a form of normal revenue 2) generally don't appreciate the aesthetic qualities of the products they pump to dump 3) are generally not collectors of the products they pump to dump 4) often is dishonest about the value of the product...hyping it or making fallacious claims about the value of silver as one example, for the purpose of dumping a silver product that they will need to sell because they did not buy it purposefully to add to their prized collection, but rather specifically to sell for a profit. That's different from a person who sees him/herself as a collector who buys a coin / medal for it's aesthetic qualities or for the purpose of adding the coin / medal to their "prized" collection (however small that may be) and who may have enthusiastically share in a forum their appreciation with others. A collector selling a coin / medal is doing it with different intent than the pumptard, in my view. .
Probably my favorite (tied with Emei) -- so far. And I think it's going to be hard to beat. Brass is nice, too. Great photos & video.. Yet still doesn't do it justice, IMO. Have to see it in person, due to its 3-D nature. Dumb question, but I've heard both: Is that thing a dog or a lion??
Yeah, I've heard that, the mythical part. But I think the creature is supposed to be based on an actual animal (dog, lion), and even has a name..
Hey Missing and Gatito, you interested? hehehe. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-China-...-034-FULL-SET-GRADED-ULTRA-RARE-/161709078879?
Sure, but only if you have 2 more sets for me. If not, don't worry about it -- as I don't deal with speculators.. Good luck fishin'..
You should add the "Best Offer" option.. If you get a pretty high one, and you think you can work with them, maybe even make a counter-offer. Hey, never know..
