Damn sold out.....looks like it's back to using Grandad's WWII gas mask.
hope your computer does not get Wu hanned
I don't know anything about this situation. But does anyone think that this place might have anything to do with this outbreak?
If we put the tin foil hat on, one may say that the Wuhan virus (as others before it) might just be a beta test to see how deadly it is. Still plenty of people on this planet proposing depopulation.......Agenda 21 comes to mind too.
I was thinking more accidental release of the virus, if anything at all. I doubt intentional.
I was thinking the other way around-just come to my mind-who knows...
Don't LARF, when we were kids on the farm in the early 1950's we discovered in Dad's Green Trunk, his WW2 gear. water purifiers & wondrous items related to the war.
There was something pretty closely related to said item.
in America now..
We haven't had an end of the world epidemic since the last time the world ended.
On a side note looks like the rain has spoiled a good drought.
It's everywhere by now. Several planes reached Europe before the shut-down of Wuhan and Chinese New Year tomorrow so plenty of domestic travel.
-The incubation period is usually seven days, with two to three days the minimum period and 10 to 12 days the maximum.
-It is spread through human-to-human transmission and there are also medical-staff infections.
-The virus may mutate, so there is further risk of spread.
-Fever is the main manifestation of the virus. Dry cough, shortness of breath, and diarrhoea are the other main symptoms. Some patients get a runny nose.
-Severely affected patients get severe respiratory problems, septic shock and, as we know, there have been at least 17 deaths. But most patients have a good prognosis.
Apparently there were 3 flights direct Wuhan to Aust per day. Last flight landed 22/23 Jan before the close down. Guess we'll see.
Also, just noted that Beijing has closed off / placed travel restrictions on up to 10 cities now as a result of the virus.
I'm starting to wonder about this now. Westmead hospital is quickly ramping up to cater for this. Will know for sure in a weeks time if it's something serious or everyone just being extra cautious.
The patients tested in UK (14, out of which 1 in NI and 5 in Scotland) flew in during the past 14 days.
In USA they have a second suspected case now; a person on flight from Mexico City to LAX. It's all over the place.
Now we're just waiting for the numbers to start rolling in of how many of those infected start having respiratory difficulties / developing pneumonia. This will be the main difficulty for elderly patients I think.
I read some reports on arrivals from China. Sydney is near the bottom of the list. At the top are Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Dubai, etc, not in exact order.
Novichock and highly likely Russia
now Wu han and clearly sabotage
French Health Minister Agnès Buzyn declared 2 confirmed cases of coronavirus - BFM TV.
First case in Bordeaux, 2nd in Paris Buzyn said first patient had returned from a trip to China, had traveled to Wuhan; she didn’t have details on the second patient.
Looks like the Chinese kept this "outbreak" under wraps for a while before letting the world know.
I knows this is the more boring option for new viruses to emerge ^^^^ but it is also the most likely.
The person could be humping a monkey or EATING it but that is how it happens
Every so often someone posts something on this forum which shows how much of a wanker they truly are.
The truth can be offensive sometimes and it doesnt discriminate.
