Funny, I'm in Malaysia right now and was considering purchasing some dirham from Public Gold who sell carded dirham minted by the Nadir Metal Rafineri (member LBMA) in Turkey. I don't recall ever seeing dirham mentioned in this forum albeit I've only been here 2 years.
Yes you will se a fair majority of the type over there(Dirham) The Royal Silver Company did a single release of a Dirham coin while they were in operation, it is smaller than the other RSC releases, and is reasonably attractive. The quality of the silver is ultra fine at .99999. In the end RSC went under, the dirham round they produced was for some reason the only round not to have a wildlife theme, I do know that the other rounds were minted to raise the alert and help funding for threatened South American species under threat. I am completing a few complete sets of the year dates and production run
