WTB: Low end Australian pre decimal silver numi's.

I'm keen to start a small collection of Australian predecimal silver numi's.

    Shillings and florins only.

Have you got some coins in the $10 to $25 range that you're keen to sell or swap for silver / gold.

You can put pics here if you like or email them to me: [email protected]

    Thanks :)

    Hi Swoydaz

Is this the type of material you are after ? All .925 a few rim nicks and scratches (some with a hint of past cleaning/washing).

I can do multiples of all George VI .925 (ex 1939) - Photo is of the better examples.

    Cheers

    cheers ED

    prefer no nicks or cleaning.

I'd buy those at bullion price though, if interested.

    lol

a lot of guys here have spent a lot of time telling me grading means nothing :)

grade your own coins ... ignore professional assessment :)

you may have seen those posts :)

so having said all that ... VF and above :p

no dings, no grease or dirt embedded, minimal wear.

Well even if grading means nothing, there's still a huge difference between a worn circulated coin and a full lustre uncirculated one :)

    PM'ing you

    Agree ;)

Grading means at least something, surely ???

I don't believe it means nothing, simply reiterating that which came forth :)

no swordz that's not what people said and you know it.
the grading that you had from that particular "professional" means nothing as he has a bad reputation
the grade of a coin means the difference between a $10 bullion coin and a $10,000 gem coin
a lot of florins can be had in pcgs/ngc slabs for around $50 in ms condition. may I suggest you start spending some time on ebay to get an idea of what a grade is actually worth?
    and
"no dings, no grease or dirt embedded, minimal wear."
is not low end pre decimal, I think that is the very definition of low end grade coins
