It depends on whether you are talking about the spelling of the political party (minus capitals) or work.
Thanks Napthalene - that was the original intention - but this is a gold and silver forum so irony is sometimes ignored. (also my sense of humour can be incredibly oblique I recognise - it was a reference to the raising of the retirement age and the future work without end.) When I was younger there was debate about what we'd be doing in our old age since technology was removing the need for work and a 2 or 3 day week would be the norm. Obviously the PTB decided yes, but 2-3 days pay and it never ends.
I do not associate the Southern Cross with such connotations , Despite recent history , I reference it with the historic value it deserves in the history of our nation in regards to the Eureka stockade and as a reference to our geographic location as the Great southern land. I prefer to see such a coin just as emblematic as the Canadian maple or the Liberty coin of the U.S . Put a map of Aus behind it if needs be but I reckon a southern cross coin would be a seller .
