So...2 weeks ago I placed a bet at Bovada.
I wagered $200 to win $1300 (plus the original bet) on ROGER FEDERER TO WIN WIMBELDON!!!

Finals are Sunday. #1 Djokovic VS #2 Federer.
Federer is looking SUPER sharp, and destroyed #3 Murray today.

    Can he do it?!?!?!

17-time Grand Slam winner and seven-time Wimbledon champion.

If he wins this, we'll surpass Pistol Pete Sampras for the most Wimbeldon wins. :)

WHAT A PAYDAY TOO! $1500 to win is a good chunk of silver. lolz

I only got those odds since I placed the wager 2 weeks ago.
Now if you put $720 on DJ, it would only pay $496.55 (+ original bet)
((Since he's ranked #1, and favored to win))

    Yep, total spend $920

    Joker wins + $496.55

    Fed wins + $580.00

    Enjoy the game. Good luck.

Thanks, I definitely will. It will be an epic battle between the two.
There were options a couple weeks ago to choose the male & female winners.
As insurance on my $200 federer bet, I put $40 on DJ + Serena williams to win. (Pays $220)
So even if Fed loses, I can fall back on DJ & Williams to pay a bit. :)

I think he will. #2 Federer has been playing EXTREMELY well. He destroyed #3 Murray with ease in straight sets.
#1 Djokovic had a much more difficult time in the semi-finals.

This can only lead me to believe one thing....Federer will be making history. (And making me $1500) lol

Mate, not trying to intrude on your punt, but as this thread is posted in the investments forum I seriously hope you can reconsider your investment.

You're in a position to make $500 no matter who wins.

Think of the shit you can buy with five hundy + the 2 hundy you 'invested'.

Serena has won so now you're in an even more favourable position.

I too hope Fed takes this one and creates history, but if he didn't, be nice to walk away with a kg all the same.

    Just saying mate.

Fine line between investment and gambling.

    Go Fed!

Thanks man. Yeah, actually I placed a $44 wager on DJ+Serena to win - pays $220.
(This bet was placed 2 weeks ago. Pretty nice payout considering they were the 2 favorites!
This was my backup plan if fed loses. lol

Obviously I would be tickled pink if Fed wins, but even if he loses, I'm only down ~ $20 since I have the above bet as insurance.

I just cannot understand him(Fed). In any tournament, when he is playing extremely well always chokes in the final....

seems like djoko is his new nemesis as rafa is on the downside...

Fed came out swinging as you'd expect but the 5 year younger Djoker with the extra day rest probably caught up with the old fella in the end.
