What's your screen resolution setting? The ads are meant to resize based on your resolution - I might need to check the settings.

Is it new behaviour or something that's always happened?

The resolution is 1440x900. Been happening for a while I think but I have the AUD silver price on the right and have been keeping an eye on it for the last few days.

    I'm using firefox 4.1.

Post a screenshot? The ads are the same width for everyone once you go over 1152 wide - I'm on 1400 wide with Firefox 4.0 and it's fine.

Ah - yeah, the width of the ads is based on your screen resolution, not your browser width.

The ads from Google have different fixed widths - they won't dynamically resize. Smaller ads leave tons of whitespace in the chart strip.

Yes, because the ads are a fixed width. A quick "view code" of the page will show how it works.

    Yours is expected behaviour.

Maybe one more screen size in the js would be good if they have an extra ad size.

Nope - 728 is the widest they provide.

I can put more ads there though if you promise to click on them :p
