I got a little flyer in the mail from the Perth Mint inviting me to visit their stand at the next Sydney ANDA show on August 20/21.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else wants to stop by and say hello...or anything else...to them.

I would rather spend the admission fee on a couple of schooners thanks! :)

Well since I now have a lot of cash that I won't be spending on dragons, I figure paying ten bucks to let them know what I think of them is pretty cheap.

Trouble is management won't be on the frontline taking flak from the disgruntled.

Isn't that what staff are for?

Just because I can't complain directly to the CEO and the Chairman of the Board and the Treasurer of WA doesn't mean I'm can't tell the employees manning the booth that I think the organisation they work for is crummy.

Because the Perth Mint are allegedly sending most of the dragons overseas (80 to 90%)! And in doing so taking potential profits from Australian dealers to overseas dealers...

Imagine if the US Mint did this to US distributors and US citizens..... you'd never hear the end of it.

The U.S. Mint actually got themselves into a similar situation with the America the Beautiful 5oz sets at the beginning of the year.

And yes, they got a heap of complaints about it.
